Schedule available for Houston Family History Expo 2012
The Houston Family History Expo 2012 is in the last stages of planning. The initial schedule for the presentations is now online. Lisa Louise Cooke, Producer and Host of the Genealogy Gems Podcast. In addition to authoring the Genealogy Gems News Blog, she is the author of the books The Genealogist’s Google Toolbox and Genealogy Gems: Ultimate Research Strategies, and the Google Earth for Genealogy DVD series, as well as a writer, instructor and podcaster for Family Tree Magazine.
The closing Keynote will be by Holly T. Hansen, President of Family History Expos, Inc. Holly has helped thousands understand the techniques and technology to trace their roots in today’s ever-changing technological environment. She received a B.A. in History from Weber State University and continues to dedicate time to education on a daily basis. She is also an author, lecturer, former editor of Everton’s Genealogical Helper magazine, and editor of the 10th and 11th editions of the Handybook for Genealogists.
The Houston Expo will be held at the Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport, 9100 Gulf Freeway, Houston, Texas – 77017 on April 6th and 7th, from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on the 6th and opening again at 9:00 am and ending at 4:30 pm on the 7th.
