After you have viewed this class, you will know how to use three distinct search methods on the internet. String search, catalog search, and wiki search. You will know how to locate coordinates for a geographic locale, use the coordinates to access GeoHack, and then enter Google Maps Streetview for amazing details on the area your ancestors lived. You will see how the basic layout of the Wiki is a model of how records are organized. You will also learn about companion locater tools such as World Cat, Archive.org, and others.
