Begin Research in the United States
After you view this class you will know how to use maps, determine locations, and how to use catalogs with more accuracy. You will understand that we are all immigrants. Even those of us who call ourselves natives, ultimately came from somewhere else. Research must begin in the country of arrival when the immigrant's country or origin is unknown, names were changed, or family traditions and records may be misleading or inaccurate.
This presentation was recorded live for the "Locating Ancestors in the Old Country" Expo. The individual Research Guide for this class is included with this video.
