Personal Genealogical Records
After you view this class you will know more about surnames and your genealogy, you will have a greater understanding of how important protraits and manuscript collections may be to your research. You will know about British monumental inscriptions—and how to locate them county by county; you will know how to locate personal papers by surname and compiler/owner; and you will know how to find “personal records” in the FamilySearch Catalog. This understanding will enable you to find them online and offline in the libraries you patronize.
