Description and Highlights

Join Ruth E. Maness, AG, for a day filled with research guidance and expert help using the diverse LDS collections available for family history research.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) have ancestors from all over the world. They share many of the same ancestors as you. Thus, records created, collected, and preserved by FamilySearch, as well as those submitted by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to the Church Headquarters in Salt Lake City, may be of great help to you.

Their program of gathering and preserving records from throughout the world continues today.

This series of classes is designed for you. When you have finished viewing each class you will know how to locate LDS resources which could give amazing details on your ancestors who may or may not have been Mormons.
