This class will help you understand the need for a research log and give you guidance on how, when and where to formulate one. If you were able to complete every research project within one session in the Library, you would have no need to be organized or have a research log. But realistically, we all do research in bits and pieces over time. It may seem obvious that keeping a record of what you have looked at and what you have left to search will keep you focused, but few researchers are so meticulous. Learning to keep adequate records will help you stay focused and provide you with the practical tools you need to make actual progress in your research.
