Every time you use the Internet to store information, including emails or photos, you are using cloud computing. Every time you use the Internet to read a book or use a program like Google’s Picasa, you are using cloud computing. Simply put, cloud computing is the use of the Internet for computer functions that previously took place on a local computer. This presentation will help you understand how to use the Cloud computing tools, Dropbox, Evernote and Skype to help with all of your online genealogical activities.
